Dr. Sandip Bipte, MBBS, Fellowship in Breast Surgery, MS – General Surgery, is a Consultant Breast Cancer
Oncologist, at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. He has an experience of over 15 years in the diagnosis and
management of benign and malignant diseases of the breast.

Dr. Bipte was awarded MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He then completed
his fellowship & speciality training in Breast Oncosurgery from Tata Memorial Hospital and has received
training in Intraoperative Radiotherapy, the latest treatment for early breast cancer (IORT) in UK. He was also
a senior registrar at Bhagwati Hospital & Trauma Centre, Mumbai.

Dr.Bipte has received training in Breast Ultrasonography and Detection and Diagnosis of Early Breast Cancer.
He has also done extensive research work and participated in various trials. He has additionally chaired and
participated in multiple sessions and panel discussions.

His areas of interest include breast surgery (benign & malignant diseases), breast reconstruction (oncoplasty,
implants, expanders, pedicle flaps), targeted intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) for early breast cancers, and
BRCA & magnetic clinics for patients with high breast cancer risk.
